I love it! A fantastic art game from one of my favourite artists.

A great example of ludo-narrative harmony, as StevieP captures the frustration and also game-ified addictiveness of modern life through both his clever writing and fiendinsh gameplay design.

Looking forward to more games from StevieP!

Please, please make this pain end.... It's too much, but in a fun way for me - I LOVE your game idea and it's nerve-wracking! -Great job, dude-

I really enjoyed this! Played through it a second time to see if I missed anything. Chased around the vacuum (lol), messed around with the mesh network, took a shower etc but had to give up eventually.

Trying not to spoil anything, but has anyone found another ending than the stairway one?

Would love to see this one expanded in to a larger game!

Was a pretty interesting game, although it seems the network-detection system is a bit off (I had plenty of apps connecting to things and reporting states even before I had the phone connected to the wifi!)

Were you connected to the free data plan?

Yes, which would mean I wouldn't have connection to the local devices (which couldn't get to the internet because I hadn't paid the bill, and even once I had, it'd still need local wifi connection to properly identify it as "local")

At this point you can connect your phone to the devices over bluetooth, and the apps for each device can connect to the internet (on your phone's data plan), but the devices themselves can't connected to the internet because there isn't a valid wifi network :)

grab Kafka, text based adventure, cyberpunk, IoT absurdity and mix it up, you will get this nice game.

A nice reflection of where our society is headed, surrounded by things that should make everything easier for us but all falls apart and got us trapped in a technological maze.

Totally recommend playing this game until your phone is bloated with apps so you can finally get to turn on the damn light
